Christ's College.
A pleasant entertainment was given laat night in the old schoolroom at Chriat'a College in honour of the viait of the Wellington and Wanganui College football teams. The room was effectively decorated with evergreens and thß colours of the College and the old Cathedral School. There was a very good attendance, and the programme was a
capital one. Mr A. Liogard sang " Anchored" and "The Skipper's Flag;" Mr C.S. Bell/Bansf "The Admiral's Broom," "My Friend " (in answer to an encore) and "Oh, Promise Me; "Master Lake sang •• Twilight Voice's " and " Take a Pair of Sparkling Eyes;" Mr G, H. Merton sang the solo. of the College song; the boys sang "Dulce Domum" and the Harrow song "Awake, Boys, Awake." Mr A. J. Merton acted as accompanist. The school orchestra played two selections. Scenes from The Rivals were given la an exceedingly creditable manner by L. Donkin, A. E. Eattray, E. Cotterill, M. S. Ormsby, H. Macbeth, H. Holdernees, S. G. Teakle, M. Louiaßon, L. Blunden and P. Lindsay.
