OBITUARY.
All who were acquainted with him, and cricketers generally, will be deeply gtieved to hear of the death of Mr Aynnesley Harman, which took place yesterday at 2.30 p.m. Mr Harman waa quite well until Wednesday, when he contracted an acute attack of pneumonia, which carried him off yesterday. Mr Harman, who was thirty-one yeara of age, was third Bon of Mr B. J. S. Harman. He was born in Christohnroh, and was educated at Christ's College. After leaving college he joined the firm of Meßsra Harman and Stevens, and in their employ he remained until his death. Mr Harman, like his father and brothers, was a capital all-round athlete, but it waa as a cricketer that he will principally be . remembered. He represented Canterbury for some years, and in all departments of the game did good service for the United Cricket Club, to whioh he belonged.
