SYDNEY, June 13.
A fire at Liverpool destroyed Collingwood's wool-scouring works, the damaee being estimated at JB7OOO.
On Tuesday afternoon a fire occurred in a field near Sefton, toy which Mr H. Orchard, of Waikuku, lost four stacks of hay, one of oatsheaf, ashed and a mowingmachine. A stack of threshed clover hay on Mr E. d'Auvergne's farm, a few chains away, was first observed to be burning, having ignited from a fire lit to clear up the refuse left by the threshing machine; and the strong north-wester blowing is supposed to have carried sparks to Mr Orchard's stacks. The property burnt was valued at over £100, and it was not insured.
