The monthly meeting was held on June 3; present — Messrs Hopkins (chairman), Chapman, Giles, Smith and Wright. The Surveyor's report was read and adopted. Correspondence was read and dealt with. Mr E. Coup waited on -the Board in referenoe to the terms of his lease of Eeserve No. 1547. It was resolved that a new lease should be made out for a term of Beven years from May 1, 1895, and that the rent should be at ehe rate of 2s 6d per acre under certain conditions. The Surveyor was directed to get the -willows overhanging the Mill Eoad out and to clean out the drain along the western side of White's for a distance of about ten chains from the south branch of the Ohoka Greek. The tender of Mr C. Lancaster for cleaning the Tram Eoad drain was accepted. Account.* amounting to JBISO 2s 5d were passed for payment.
