At the Bangiora ground yesterday afternoon, a match was played between the North Canterbury Club's Thursday afternoon team and a mixed team selected from the N'tu Ahuriri first and second fifteens. The Maoris won by seventeen points to ten.
A match was played yesterday afternoon between the United Drapers and Linwood, and resulted in a win for the Drapera by twenty-six points to eight. Wilkinson scored five tries and Hunter one try. Hebden kicked one goal from a try and Annim one. Yoyce kicked a goal from a try, and one from a mack. For Linwood Eitchie and Stringer scored tries, one of which was converted. ■ '
