GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

[ A fair number of farmers visited town on E Saturday. Wheat offerings were limited, 'and business- generally was of a quiet ■character. Recent cable messages have reported a decline in the London market ■ for wheat, the upward movement reported 'a few daya ago apparently not having been sustained. Under present oir'cumstances, however, the local mar•ket is independent in a great measura of the cable quotations. Ausitralian quotations are sensibly higher, 'and this fact has doubtless influenced millers in the advance made-in the price of' flour. The weather lately has Been fine, . and farm-work generally has been pushed forward.

' Wheat has not been offered freely, holders apparently* having faith in the future.
