The law 3 relating to licensing matters and ke«piug disoiderly houses might as well be wiped off the Statute Book if they are only to be enforced as in Chris tchurch as at present. Few respect the laws I have mentioned, and many simply laugh and "wink the other eye" at the thought of them. Let us be awoke and vigilant. There is urgent need, as many of our reform organisations know, for a searching inquiry.
