PRESIDENT'S CUP.
The President's Cup contest at Kaiapoi between the Kaiapoi Third Fifteen and Albion Second resulted in a win for Kaiapoi by nine points to four. J. Lynskey, M' Bride and J. Drabble scored tries for Kaiapoi, and Hunt petted a goal for Albion. The game between the Southern and Sydenham Third resulted in a win for the former by six points to nil. Smith scored two tries. The Boys' High School visited Port on Saturday and played Lyttelton Second. The match resulted in a win for Lyttelton by nine points to nil, the triea being secured by Fitzgerald, Olliver and Foster. The Piratea Second met the North Canterbury Second on the South Park, the game resulting in favour of the former by eleven points to three. Hanham, Kerr, Margetts and Sykes played well for the Pirates, and Huasey, Anderson and Miller for the losers.
