Rifle Shooting.— Rifle shooting practice threatens to be stopped for a period in Christchurch owing to the want of ammunition. Several of the local corps have received from the office in Wellington, in reply to their applications for further supplies of ammunition, intimation that the "Department ia unable to forward Martini-Henry ball cartridge until a further stock is secured, theaopply having been exha'ieted."
