At the wool sales croßs- bred s are slightly dearer. The French are buying eagerly. SYDNEY, Nov. 30. The wool market has a buoyant tone, and late tates are firmly supported. Greasy - crosß-breda 6£d to lOd, scoured fleece 10$ d to Is ssd. Henry J. Gerritsen, a member of the firm of Oetzea and Gerritsen, prodnce merchants, of London, ip visiting Sydney, la the course of an interview he said his firm had had large transactions with Australia and New Zealand, but the firm had out its connection with New Zealand owing to the farmers Belling large quantities of cheese to buyers whose object was to make something on the sale to London merchants. He said that his visit was chiefly in connection with the butter tiade. MELBOURNE, Nov. 30. At the wool sales competition is brisk, especially for light greasy merinoß and good scoured. The market is firm at late rates. BRISBANE, Nov. 30. The wheat harvest is in full awing. The Darling Downs yield is the largest ever known.
