Another patient, whose arm had been amputated, had been helped to get an artificial one. Some money had been spent in providing nightshirts, bed jackets, &c, for the use of patients in the Hospital. All the moneyspent had gone direotly to the relief of patients in some form, with the exception of 18s 2d expended in stationery, stamps, Arc. A vary successful treat had been given to the patientß at Christmas, when the gifts, which were greatly appreciated, had been presented by Mra Julius, assisted by the Mayor and Mrs George. The weekly concerts had been kept up with considerable regularity throughout the year. The Committee heartily thanked those friends who by getting them up had given co much pleasure to the patients.. The Committee was sorry to report that subscriptions had no v . come in so freely as last year, only .£4B 6s - ' • having been received so far. The Score tarieß hoped that those friends who have not yet sent in their subscriptions will kindly do so, and also ask their friends to contribute a little yearly towards a work . in which the entire sum at the disposal of the Committee is spent in affording relief to those suffering from sickness and poverty. The beat thanks of the Com- , mittee were due to those associates who had not only subscribed but collected for the funds of the Lady Visitors' Associa- ' tion, and it is to be hoped others will follow their example. The Committee and Secretaries were re-elected. Some^-dtew members were proposed and accepted-. The usual votes of thanks were passed, and l the meeting separated. .• .
