f PWt PBSBB ASSOCIATION.! WELLINGTON, 'Oct. 4. The Marine Department has received a telegram from Captain Fairchild, on the Hinemoa, from Napier. He states that he saw a quantity of wreckage five miles ' off Cape Palliser on Tuesday at noon. A i search was made as far as wreckage could be found. The Hinemoa picked up eight pieces of bunk board, some pieceß of a deck house, boat chocks and a piece of a ship's topgallant bulwarks bearing the name of "Evelyn." Yesterday search was made from Wellington Heads towards Terawhiti, but no wreckage was discovered.
