Adult Suffrage.
( In the Legislative Assembly, the division on the Adult Suffrage Bill was twenty-four in favour of the measure and twenty-three against it. As an absolute majority is ! necessary before a change in the ConstituI tion can be adopted, the Bill will not be proceeded with.
