Attempted Suicide.
[Peb Pbesb Association.] DUNEDIN, Oct. 2. At the City Court to-day George Hendrick was charged with attempting to commit suicide at South Dunedin by taking iodine. Inspector Pardy informed the Bench that the man drank some of the liquid, and attempted to force some down hia wife's throat. There was reason to believe that he was ont of his mind. He was remanded for medical examination.
