IMPERIAL POLITICS.

[Special to Pbess absoci&tion.J LONDON, Sept. 3. In the House of Commons Mr Justin M'Carthy said the Irish cordially accepted the Home Rule Bill. Mr Chamberlain contended that it postponed indefinitely a complete and fuller union. Mr Morley replied that Irishmen all over the world felt that a decisive step had been taken towards a true union. The minority that voted against the third reading was composed of 228 Torieß and 39 Liberal - Unionists ; the majority of 220 Liberals and 81 Nationalists. There were fifty pairs. The Colonial Party, at a meeting presided over by Sir J. Gorst, resolved to bring on a discussion upon the disorders in Samoa upon the Estimates, owing to Sir E. Grey's assurance that the New Hebrides question was deferred. Sept. 4. The Irish National Federation of America congratulates Mr Gladstone on the loyalty and fidelity with which he has adhered to his promises, and trusts that his life will be prolonged to enable him to complete his work, The final passage of the Home Rule Bill through the House has embittered the feeling between Catholics and Orangemen. Several riots have taken place in Clare and Down.
