SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP.

Fine weather and dry turfß prevailed on Saturday, and the senior matches consequently drew a large number of spectators. On the north end of the ground at Lancaster Park Eaßt Christchurch and Linwood tried their strength for the second | time this season. The game went all j in favour of the Easterns, who won a hard-and-fast game by thirfcy-ono points to six. The scratoh game between Sydenham Third and Albion resulted in a win for the latter by twenty-two points to six.
