The Unemployed.
The unemployed met again in Cathedral square this morning. About one hundred men were present. Addresses were given by Mesßrs Powell, Whiting and Fleming. It was announced that a deputation had been appointed to wait on the City Council to-night, and that the result would be made known at the meeting to-morrow morning. If the City Council can do nothing, a meeting of representatives of all the local bodies will, it is stated, be called by the Mayor to discuss the question.
