Lyons batted with great dash, and never gave a chance. Giffen waa unlucky. Trott rattled up his score in excellent style, but Blackham slogged away merrily, and had a good deal of luck. On . the part of the Players Lockwood played a good innings. Trumble was almost unplayable, and the fielding of the Colonials was splendid.
