The Deputation from the Students of Truth.
* TO THE EDITOE. Sik,— l and many " Students of Truth "' were surprised to learn from the Star last night that Mr George Simpson and some other persons had waited on the Hon W. P. Reeves as a deputation from the. "Students of Truth." He may have represented a few of his special -friends, but he certainly had no authority to represent the general body. I object — and all those I have met to-day also object — to Mr Simpson and his mission. We do not want A. Bentley Worthington to be given any status here implying respectability. We do not coasidor him entitled to it, and we wish to get rid of him as speedily as possible. Will you kindly certify to my ticket of membership as a " Student of 1 Truth," which I will show you, lest
I Worthington and his followers should ! question my being what I subscribe myself.— l am, &0., A STUDENT OF TRUTH. [We have seen the ticket of membership of the writer of the above letter.— Ed. Btar.j ■
