NORTH+EAST. The adjourned meeting of the Licensing Committee for the North-east district of the city was held at the City Council Chambers at noon, to-day J: present—ll r B Weatenra (Chairman), M&sars- Jl P JameEon and Ft Trent.. Sergeant-Major Mason attended on behalf of 1 the police. The following applications were dealt with, having been, adjourned from the annual meeting to allow of certain alterations being made to the premises, as suggested by the police :^P..M'Sweeney, Y'PJ 0"811 Hotelj. Eliza Meek Batloy, Albion.;. Hi. Saunders, Albert; and J k Sweeney, Golden Fleece. These were all granted, the improvements having been effected;.
