Cable Messages.
[Per Pbbßß Association.] WELLINGTON, June 19 The number of international cable mes- ' sages forwarded last month was 50!), aB .. against 269 for May, 1892, or 89*22 p. r cent , of increase. Messages received were 461 ! and 255 respectively, an increase of 80*78 , per cent. The number of intercolonial •- messages forwarded laßt month shows an a increase of 82*19 per cent, as compared > with May, 1892, the respective totals being 2731 and 1499. The increase in the number lof intercolonial received messages was 5 58*92 per cent, the numbers for May, 1892 - and 1893, being 1739 and 2748 respectively
