[Spkcxal to the "Stab/ 1 ! WELLINGTON, June 19. Mr E. M. Taylor, M.H.R., waited upon the Colonial Treasurer to-day, at the request of a number of his constituents interested in the revision of the tariff, for the purpose of ascertaining if Government proposed dealing with the tariff in any way during the coming session of Parliament. I hear from Mr Taylor that there will be £1000 on the Estimates for painting and several repairs to the Government Buildings.
