ASHBURTON. Friday, April 7. (Before W. G. Ece B and D. Williamson, Esqs.) Jubt List. — The jury list was signed, there being no objectors. Alleged Criminal Assault. — John Nilson was charged with criminally assaulting a young girl on the Wheatstone road on April 3. The accused was committed for trial at the next criminal Beßßion of the Supreme Court in Christchurch.
