[Pib Pbxsb Association.] WELLINGTON, Apbil 7. Parliament has been further formally prorogued until May 13. Another Gazette will be issued about that date calling the members together for the despatch of business. Though it has not been definitely decided, it is understood that Thursday, June 22, is the day on which Parliament will meet. » Two tenders, one from Dunedin and one from Chriatchurch, have been received for the 250 iron bedsteads required for the Porirua asylum. No local tender has been received, and there is no word fcom Auckland. The Minister for Lands has received a letter asking him to contest Mataura at the next general election, and promising Btrong support. Mr M'Kenzie Ilbb replied that he is pledged to contest his present seat, Waihemo.
