FOUND DROWNED.
About a quarter past four o'clock this morning, Sergeant Briggs and Constable Ramsay received information to the effect that Mrs Catherine Scully, wife of Thomas Scully, who resides on the Soubh belt, waß lying apparently dead in a bath in the back part of the garden. They immediately went to the house, and, on going into the back yard, found Mrs Scully lying in a bath, which contained water about eighteen inches in depth. She was quite dead, and had very little clothing on. Her head and body were in the bath, but her feet were out. Mr Scully states that his wife had been suffering from heart disease, and was in the habit of getting his bath ready everjr evening. He went to bed about eight o'clock last night, when hia wife was attending to her household duties. . When he got up early this morning he Baw her lying in the bath as above stated.
