[Pbb Pbess; Assooiation.l WELLINGTON, Ebb. 28; Sir Walter Bullet takes with him in the Coptic some Very valuable and interesting collections for t&e 'Imperial Institute, besides Sir Walter's own Maori antiquities, &c. The Hon B.J. Seddon has obtained a fine collection of timbers, building stones and marbles, showli by the Public Works Department at the Dunedin Exhibition, and afterwards handed to the Dunedin Museum. Many specimens are in duplicate, and the selection made is fully representative. The Railway Commissioners have handed over the collection of timbers made for Chicago, and an excellent series of photos. They also give free railage to other collections. Samples of Middle Mand coal are promised, but the sample from Kawakawa will be the only one ready to go in the Coptic. Mr John Boberts has undertaken to collect a proper wool exhibit from the next clip, and Messrs Turnbull and Co. do the same for flax. The latter will be ready, for the opening. Mr Seddon will collect a mineral exhibit later on. The Canterbury Museum sendß a splendid moa skeleton, similar to the one Sir Julius von Haast valued at £1000. The Hon E. Mitchelson has promised a collection of kauri guaa. The shipping Companies charge half freights only. Altogether the New Zealand Court will not be badly represented at the opening, and by the time all the oollsotiouß axe in place it mast be an attractive sight. The Premier has cabled that all the Bpace would be used.
