Lancaster Football Club.

■» The second annual general meeting of the Lancaster FootbaU Clnb was held at the Lancaster Park Hotel last night; There was a very good attendance of members, and Mr A. Bobbie waß voted to the ohair. The Chairman read the annual report and balance-sheet. Tbe former showed that the Club had played twenty-one matches, winning seventeen and losing four. There were forty-four members. The balance-sheet ehowed that the receipts had amounted to _Sl3 9s and the expenditure to -612 Is, leaving a credit balance of £1 Bs. The assets we.re valued at _83, and there were no liabilities. On the motion of Mr C. Haydon, seconded by Mr C. Baillie, tbe report and balance-sheet were unanimously adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows : — President, Mr T. Quill (reelected) ; Vice-Presidents, Meesrs Eden George, W. C. Hill, L. J. Smith, W. Price and K. L. Knight; Honorary Secretaries, Mesars B. Greig and A. Bobbie ; Honorary Treasurer, Mr C. Baillie ; Delegate to the Canterbury Bugby Union, Mr A. Bobbie ; Custodian, Mr E. Jonas; General Committee, Messrs T. Jones and 0. Haydon . Selection Committee, Messrs C. Baillie, C. Haydon aud M. Hendron ; Auditors, Messrs T. Quill and J. M'Kendry. It was decided that the first fifteen should compete in tbe President's Cup contest. It was suggested that tbe Club should open the season with a " social," and after a diaousßion the matter waa left in the hands of the Committee. Tbe following new members . were elected: — Messrs J. Fraeer, W. Ashbolt, N. Thomas, G. Evans, H. Sfceere, W. Franklin, R. M'Cleary and A. Blunt. A hearty vote of tbanks was paeaed to the President, Mr T. Qnill, for the valuable assistance he had rendered the Club last season. A vote of thanks to the retiring officers nnd the Chairman terminated the meeting.
