Melbourne Training Notes.
fSpaeiAii to Piresa Association.] MBLBOFENB, Fbb. 22. Prime Minister is very lame after galloping yesterday, and fears are entertained that he has irrecoverably broken down. During the afternoon St Hippo skimmed over six furlongs without apparent effort in Imin 18seo. He was restricted to walking exercise this morning, and was as playful as a kitten, effectually silencing the croakers about his supposed lameness. Veno and Chatham did five furlongs comfortably in Imin 6sec. The latter is in great fettle. Ant seas did a clinking half-mile on the tan in 54 seconds. Sprig-o'-Myrtle looked blooming after an excellent gallop yesterday, but Birinsi appeared tucked up.
