City Fire Brigade.
TO THE EDITOK. Sib, — Can you inform me who are responsible for the care of the city horses ? Last night I waa going through the square at the time the firebell was ringing. There I Baw the Chester station chemical engine coming with more like mad horses than anything else. I hope our City Councillors will inquire into it. This is not the first time by many that I have noticed the way our Council horses are raced along our streets. Some of theße times the city will have to pay dear for this reckless driving, and then something will be done. Trusting this will Bave our horses from further ill-treatment. — I am, &c., EYE WITNESS.
