The product of amalgam from the following quartz mines in the Recfton district for the month of January was G3lGoz: — Progress, Inkermanu, Globe, No. 2 South Dark, United Alpine, Keep-it-Dark, Wealth of Nations, Venus and Energy. [Peb Peess Association.] HOKITIKA, Feb. 2. Latest news from the rush on Saturday evening states that Hayes and party cradled two and three-quarter loads with a return of 2oz of gold; wash four feet thick. Hughe3 and party also had four feet of wash, and cradled a load for Sdwt. S. Stewart and party washed thirty loads, their return giving an average of sdwt to the load. Several partieß struck wash during the week, averaging two to three grainß to the dish for four feet of wash.
