Scarlet Fever.

♦ [Pbb Pbess Association.] INVERCARGILL, Feb. 3. It appears that the barque Anna Herbertha, which arrived from Adelaide on Sunday, had two cases of scarlet fever, but, notwithstanding, was allowed to berth alongside the wharf. The Mayor of the Bluff telegraphed to the Colonial Secretary, and he instructed the Invercargill Collector of Customs tc inquire and take the action necessary. A feeling prevails that there bas been a failure to comply with the Quarantine Regulations.
