The racehorses Euby, May, Ixion and Eosebud were shipped by the steamer Penguin, on Saturday evening, to meet their engagements at the Wellington meeting.

The racehorses Ixion, Euby, May and Rosebud arrived from Lyttelton this morning to fulfil their engagements at the Racing Club Meeting.

For the Wellington Cup Crackshot is the favourite at 3 to 1, Dudu being a point longer. Bto 1 Strephon, lv to 1 Kotuku, 12 to 1 Cynisca. There ia, however, little or no wagering ; the uncertainty of Crackshot being a starter, in view of important engagements in Australia, has caused backers to wait for the day.
