Advancement of Science.
In connection with the meeting, mention of the arrangements for luncheon should not be omitted. In one of the rooms in the Boys' High School a very good lunch is provided by Mr Freeman, wines and other liquors being Bupplied by Messrs Maling and Co. On Saturday afternoon a large number of the members of the Association and ladies were entertained by Mr and Mrs Leonard Harper in their beautiful grounds at Ham. Mr Fleming's band played on the lawn for the entertainment of the visitors, who spent a few hours very agreeably. The weather was just what was wanted to make the enjoyment of the party complete. _____________
