Spoiling the Market. [Pee Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, June 23. Mr Carroll, Secretary to the Chamber of Commerce, has received a letter from Messrs James Morrison and Co., of London, stating that they had ordered a consignment of flax, to be of " good " quality, which, on arriving, did not even come up to "fair." They lost .£2OO by it, and determined to stop importing, and to warn their friends against doing so. They complain strongly of the behaviour of the exporters. The negotiations were conducted through a Wellington firm.
