He begged to move the adoption o£ the accounts as read, and also that a special vote of thanks be recorded to the donors and workers connected with the liquidation of the heavy debt, which, by their efforts, had been entirely wiped out. The following gentlemen were elected on the vestry : — Messrs Bonnington, Bryant, Douglass, Jaggar, Kitchin, Pavitfc, Phillips and Spredbury. Mr W. Mardon was re-elected Auditor, and thanks accorded him for his past services. It was resolved that a letter be forwarded to the widow and family of the late Mr Shaw, sympathising with them in their bereavement. Votes of thanks were then passed to the lay readers, organist, members of the choir and ladies' sewing guild, Sunday School teachers, and other helpers in the church work. After deciding to print the statements of accounts for distribution, and passing a vote of thanks to the Chairman, the meeting terminated.
