A Draught Stallion Drowned.
[Pbe Pbkbs Association.] WELLINGTON, A.peil 22. During the voyage of the Hauroto, from Sydney, the pedigree horse Gallant Scotchman, who has been at the stud in Australia for some years past, was drowned through heavy seas breaking over the vessel. The horse wa3 valued at =£600, and consigned to Mr Hawkins, of Christchurch.
