Early Closing.
TO THK EDITOR. Sir, — Emperor Clark, if he will allow me to use his full title, knows everything. He knows who composed the mob, who set it on, and that it was a spontaneous outburst of public opinion. He sayß, "No, sir; no. King Mob is not going to rule New Zealand; friend Boycott is." The Emperor ought to know. No wonder Bismarck thought it time to resign. Thiß is in keeping with his other brag at the Tuam street Hall meeting: Every shopkeeper who refused to close early was going to be flattened like a pancake. Nevertheless, I thought of the frog who tried to swell himself out to the size of au elephant. Notwithstanding the grandiloquent language used in Mr Clark's letter,. I find no reply to tho one previously signed as this. — I am, &c, ONE OF THEM.
