[jPxR PbKSS ABBOCIATION.J DUNEDIN, Apeil 17.' At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board to-day, it was decided to again write to the Government, re the Industrial schools, pointing out that lasi year the Board paid no less a sum than ,£3250 for the support of indigent children, which they iiad to Land oror without having - the slightest control in regard to the present bringing up and disposal of the children, and without having any control whatever over the expenditure. They again pointed out that this Bjstem was altogether opposed to the principle which ought to be carried out in representative 'and local self-government.
