One hundred and sixty houses, and a hundred boot factories, covering an area o£ sixty acres have been destroyed by fire at Lynn, a manufacturing town of Massachusetts. [Lynn lies nine miles Norfch-ea3t of Boston. Nearly the whole of its population is engaged in the manufacture of boots and shoes, leather, lasts, and works connected with the trade.
