Deunkbnness.— A first offender was charged with being drunk, and waß fined 58, or ia default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. — Another man, who had not been previously before the Court, was fined 10s. The ranger proved the cases, and stated that there were eleven previous convictions against Higgs, who was 'fined 10a.— John Bowden, for a similar offence, was fined-lOa. Assault.— J. C. Edwards, cook of the ship Morning Light, sued John Thompson, the steward of the vessel, for assault.
