Stoee Sheep.— There was a largo entry, and the principal lines realised as follows : — Shorn crosa-bred ewea and lambs, 7s to 83 8d the couple ; shorn merino ewea at 3s lOd ; and a couple of lines of four, six, ' and eight-tooth merino ewes and wethers in the wool fetched 8s 4d and 10a. Pat Lambs. — About 600 were yarded and realised good price 3, the demand both ! for the trade and freezing being urgent. I Best quality realised from 2ijd to 34 d dead ■ weight. Dairy cows were slow of sale, though there were, only a few in tne yard. Pat Cattle.— The sale of beef was very dragging, and there was a general drop all round on all classes.
