Training Notes.
I [Special to the "Star."] DUNEDIN, Nov. 19. The work at the Forbury was not of a very interesting description this morning, and only a couple of fair gallops were done. Occident strode along over one mile and a half of the course proper, Stonehenge accompanying the Cup horse one mile, and Peaßblossom joining in the last six furlongs. Occident did not go kindly during any part of the journey. Garibaldi covered a couple of miles in satisfactory style. St James and Apre3 Moi galloped one mile and a half, St James having a lot the best of the spin. Recluse put in an appearance and looked very well, but was confined to slow work.
