Mr E. Dobaon was appointed Lecturer on Civil Engineering for the year 1890, at a salary of .£175 per annum, without fees. Mr Scott, if he accept the position, is to devote the whole of hiß time to the duties of his lectureship, which will include giving instructions in mechanical engineering and other branches of technical education to evening popular classes, as well as to University students.
