Alexander M'Cullough died last night from injuries sustained on New Year's night, through the kicking of a horse. A child, aged two years, the son of W. Walters, of Papakura, was kicked by a horse on the temple on Sunday last, and died yesterday. - Mr Twopeny addresses the Chamber oE Commerce on the subject of the Jubilee Exhibition on Monday^ ' '.':■•. The Governor has. definitely resolved to l6ave for Wellington on Tuesday next. Michael .M'Dermott, charged with murder, is progressing favourably in the hospital. An operation on his eye is necessary, but has not yet been performed.
