EXPLOSION OP FISEWOKKS. FIEE IN NEW TOEK [Special to Press Association.] IiONDON, August 5. Four men have been killed by an explosion of fireworks at Landell's factory at Wandsworth. NEW TOBK, August 5. Eighteen persons were killed and several injured in a fire in Bowery j street yesterday. [Pir Press Asbociation.J AUCKLAND, August 6. Particulars respecting the boat accident at Kawarua on Saturday state that Wyatt and three ITatives put off in a small boat to fish. There was a nasty break on, but thoy succeeded in clearing two or three seas, when a tremendous roller, described as beiug a wall of water twenty feet high, struck and capsized her. One of the Natives swam ashore. The othera clung to the boat, and a breaker struck tho boat, when Wyatt went under aad was not seen again, being evidently killed by the boat striking him. One of the Natives was with difficulty rescued; lie in terribly mangled, and is scarcely expected to live. The other was dashed against the rocks and killed, being seen no more. Another account says Wyatt clung to the boat for half an hour, and was then washed off. In a telegram to Inspector Broham, Constable Ward says that sometimes the people on shore could almost touch the drowning man, when tho backwash of the sea would carry him away again.
