THE ELECTRIC LIGHT IN WELLINGTON.
■» — . [Per Pbxss Association.] WELLINGTON. August 7. The City Council have completed arrwigements for lighting the city with the eleotrio light, and a contract is to be signed shortly. It is expected that the greater portion of the city will be lit by November SO. As a means of commemorating the installation of the electric light in the city, it is proposed that a SOO-candle power jamp shall be erected in a central part of the town.
