MURDER BY AN ABORIGINAL.
BRISBANE, August 3. An aboriginal murdered his giu, at Keppel Bay, and escaped to the buah. [Peb Pkess Association.]
AUCKLAND, August 3. At the Police Court to-day, a man named Harry Seabrook waa fined J25 and costs for disturbing the Salvation Army service at Drury Fiat recently. Tho case of Fenwick, the alleged lunatic, -was again before the Supreme Court today, when Judge Gillies decided that the man was of unsound mind, but was not incapable of managing himself or his affairs.
WELLINGTON, August 3. The Native Minister haa been advised that the Native who was the cause of the recent outbreak near Whangarei has been banished to the Hokianga district. An immediate and peaceful solution of tho whole difficulty is expected.
