FIRE AT NAPIER.
Insurance Losses. [Pro Pbbss Association. J NAPIER, July 17. A little after one this morning a fire broke out in Collins jewellery shop, and Bpread to Naphthali's (pawnbroker), and to Goodwin's (batcher), Hastings street. All three premises were completely gutted. Insurances : — Collins, building, J6200 in the Victoria; stock, &100 in the South British, £250 in the Imperial, and £250 in the Phoanix. Naphthali's and Goodwin's shops were owned by the New Zealand Insurance Company, which runs its own risk. Naphthali's stock was insured in the Norwich Union for £300. A good deal of 1 Collins* stock is uninjured, and a considerable quantity of Naphthali's was saved.
