Pyne, M.P., after his escape from his castle, which he had fortified, and Mr J. Gilhooly, M.P., intended to remain in secrecy until tliere was a favourable opportunity of their attending tho House of Commons, iv order to bring the Detective Department into ridicule. Therefore the officers remained outside the House to arrest them before enteriag. DUBLIN, Feb. 11. Tremendous excitement has been occasioned by the arrest, of Mr P. Gilhooly, M.P. for West Cork.
