New Zealand wheat is at 33s to 365. Adelaide flour, ex store, remains at 245. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,780,000 quarters, and for the Continent 522,000 quarters.

Australian tallow, average quality mutton, has declined to 23s ; beef remains at 225.

In the House of Commons to-day. Sir James Fergusson, Under-Secre-tary for Foreign Affairs, made a statement; regarding the negotiations which are proceeding between England and France in reference to the New Hebrides, together with the negotiations regarding other islands in the Western Pacific. He announced that the Government strongly urged France to fulfil her obligations in connection with the New Hebrides, as the question had been too long pending, and England had used every effort to bring the negotiations to a conclusion.
